Jaffer Saqi Makes Cricket History ;Smashes 6 Sixes in an Over

Kargil:Jaffer Saqi a young 22 years alrounder cricketer from Kargil created history while representing United Friends Club(UFC) Kargil against LCA during the ongoing Future League Cricket Cup at NDS Stadium Leh by hitting 6 sixes in an over and scoring 37 run in that over with one run of a wide delivery.

This achievement is a record in whole where records are available, there are some claims of same record which could not be verified for lack of evidences/proof.

As per records the youngster has played 33 matches in his short career and has scored 442 runs at amazing strike rate of 207.51 with 37 sixes and 36 fours. He has also 30 wickets to his name to prove his credentials as a budding alrounder.

The achievements becomes more significant in view of the step motherly treatments toward the game Cricket by the administration/sports department in whole Ladakh where except Ladakh Police, the administration has failed to channelise the energy of youths, which are more than 2000-2500, who plays the game of cricket in privately funded tournaments throughout the year in both districts.

Therefore the achievement of this emerging youngster from Kartkitchu, Kargil Ladakh need to be recognised and promoted by sports department UT Ladakh by providing exposure as well as all possible facilities.
