Leh, Aug 07 – In a significant development, CEC, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson, chaired an important meeting on August 6. The meeting was attended by Dy. Chairman LAHDC Leh, Tsering Angchuk, and Executive Councillor for RDD, Tashi Namgail Yakzee.
During the meeting,CEC Gyalson provided financial assistance of Rs 20 Lakh to the Ashoka Mission, New Delhi. This assistance was presented in the presence of President Ashoka Mission, Thupstan Chhewang (Former MP), and General Secretary, Tashi Motup Kau. The Hill Council, Leh has been a longstanding supporter of the organisation.
Ashoka Mission has been a vital support for patients suffering from complex diseases, especially those from financially weaker backgrounds. The discussion also covered the upcoming super specialist camp to be conducted in Leh.
