Sankoo Campus, Government Degree College Kargil observes ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign

Kargil, August 14, 2024: Sankoo Campus, Government Degree College Kargil today observed the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.

In the lead-up to Independence Day, under the supervision of Nodal Officer Dr. Saleem, the Sociology Department organized a lecture session on the theme, “Solutions to Social Issues.”

The lecture focused on how combating social evils like domestic violence, dowry, gender discrimination, and communalism is essential for achieving true independence.

The contribution of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar in the nation’s democratic fervour was also talked about in the session. The lecture was given by Dr Imtiyaz Ali Kharpa, Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology.

Following the lecture, faculty members and students participated in the flag rally to commemorate ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign and Independence Day.
