Shiv Nadar School Students Visit Govt High School Kaksar for Cultural Exchange Program

KAKSAR, On 10 August – In a continuing effort to build bridges between diverse communities, 40 students and teachers from Shiv Nadar School visited Govt High School Kaksar as part of a cultural exchange program. This visit marks the second year of collaboration between the two schools, aimed at fostering inclusivity and providing new learning opportunities for students.

During the visit, students from Shiv Nadar School donated essential stationery and sports equipment to support the educational and extracurricular activities at Govt High School Kaksar. Additionally, a new library was established in the school, funded by a summer fundraiser organized by the Shiv Nadar students. The library is stocked with a variety of books to enrich the learning environment for the students in Kaksar.

The cultural exchange program featured interactive sessions where students from both schools engaged in activities that allowed them to share their traditions and learn about each other’s cultures. The visiting group also explored the village of Kaksar, taking in the local surroundings and gaining a deeper understanding of the community’s way of life.

As part of the program, a workshop on menstrual hygiene was organized for the girl students of Govt High School Kaksar. The workshop aimed to raise awareness and educate the students on this important health topic. Sanitary pads were also distributed to the students to support their well-being.

In addition to the activities in Kaksar, plans were made for a future visit by the underprivileged students of Kaksar to the Shiv Nadar School campus. This visit is intended to expose the students to new experiences and broaden their educational opportunities.
The entire cultural exchange program was coordinated by Talib Hussain Master Govt High School Kaksar. Souvik, a teacher from Shiv Nadar School, expressed his excitement about the ongoing partnership: “We are honored to continue our association with Govt High School Kaksar. This program reflects our commitment to social responsibility and our belief that every student deserves the opportunity to learn and grow.”
